ΚΙΤΡΙΝΟΜΑΥΡΟΣ Ο BRYANT


Την απόκτηση του δεύτερου Αμερικανού της ανακοίνωσε η ΚΑΕ ΑΕΚ. Πρόκειται για τον αρκετά γνωστό στο Ελληνικό κοινό Travon Levar Bryant (5/2/1983, 2μ04), που πέρσι αγωνιζόταν στο Μαρούσι, ενώ έχει περάσει και από Κολοσσό, Ηρακλή, Περιστέρι (χωρίς να παίξει στο πρωτάθλημα) αλλά και την Benetton και τους OpelSkyliners. Σίγουρα είναι ένας εγνωσμένης αξίας παίκτης, που ξέρει τη λίγκα και τις απαιτήσεις της και μπορεί να δώσει λύσεις κάτω από το καλάθι.

Στο NCAA φόρεσε τη φανέλα του Missouri Tigers, και είχε ψηφιστεί All-American το 2000. Στην τετραετία του εκεί, είχε 7.4 πόντους και 5.4 ρημπάουντ.

University of Missouri Men's Basketball



Ήρθε στην Ελλάδα τον Αύγουστο του 2004 για λογαριασμό του Περιστερίου, όμως η ομάδα των Δυτικών Προαστίων τελικά λόγω οικονομικών προβλημάτων έπεσε κατηγορία κι έτσι έκανε το ντεμπούτο του στην Α1 με τον Ηρακλή όπου πήγε μετά έχοντας 10,2π και 6.3ρ. Την επόμενη χρονιά μετακόμισε στη Ρόδο παίζοντας στον Κολοσσό και είχε 14.5 - 7.4ρ και βοήθησε την Benetton Treviso (του Νίκου Ζήση) στα playoff να κατακτήσει το πρωτάθλημα . To 2006/07 έπαιξε στη Γερμανία με τους Deutche Bank Skyliners της Φρανκφούρτης, έχοντας σε 28αγ, 14.7π & 7.8ρ. Πέρσι με το Μαρούσι σε 35 παιχνίδια (μαζί με τα playoff) ειχε 319π (9.1), 177ρ (5.0).

Δεν καταλαβαίνω την επιλογή Βryant ο οποίος δεν είναι "καθαρός" σέντερ.
Θα προτιμούσα ένα πολύ ψηλό παίκτη ο οποίος θα τελειώνει τις φάσεις με κάρφωμα ή με ταμπλό στο low post από πολύ κοντά. Έτσι, θα υπήρχε "χώρος" για τρίποντα (Νέμεθ, Χατζής, Κίκερπιλ) αλλά και για διεισδύσεις (DJ, Παπανικολάου, Radunovic).
Σε κάθε περίπτωση είναι απαραίτητη η συμπλήρωση του ρόστερ με σέντερ αλλά και με ακόμη ένα φόργουορντ, για την περίπτωση που ο Bryant θα ξεκινά στο "τέσσερα".
Αλήθεια ο Ταπούτος είναι ακόμη ελεύθερος; Εάν ναι γιατί δεν του προτείνουμε να ξεκινήσει την χρονιά μαζί μας; Εάν είναι τόσο καλός όσο πέρυσι ας τον αφήσουμε να φύγει μόλις βρεί μια πρόταση καλύτερη από τη δική μας κατά μόλις 20-30%. Θα είναι καλό για την ομάδα και για τον ίδιο καθώς θα είναι σε ετοιμότητα και όχι σε απραξία και θα είναι σε θέση να ανεβάσει τις μετοχές του μέεσα στο παρκέ.

Το κασέ το Παπανικολάου νομίζω ότι ήταν περίπου τριπλάσιο αλλά φαίνεται ότι μένει.
Εάν δεν έχεις βρεί ομάδα, νομίζω ότι είναι καλή λύση να μη μείνεις εκτός παρκέ γιατί έτσι "πέφτει" η αξία σου στην αγορά (π.χ. δεν είσαι απόλυτα έτοιμος όταν βρεθεί ενδιαφερόμενη ομάδα μεσούσης της περιόδου).
Επιπλέον, εάν το συμβόλαιο είναι αρκετά ευέλικτο ώστε να σου δίνει το δικαίωμα να φύγεις μόλις βρείς μια πρόταση που θεωρείς ότι ανταποκρίνεται στην αξία σου, δεν βρίσκω το λόγο να μη ξεκινήσεις τη χρονιά και να μένεις άνεργος.

Μωρέ εσύ δίκιο έχεις, κι αν ο Παπανικολάου δεν έχει μείνει με κάτω από 100 χιλιάρικα (το συμβόλαιό του προέβλεπε 370 χιλ. για φέτος...) και δεν τα δώσαμε αντί γι'αυτόν στον Ταπούτο είμαστε για να'μαστε...
